Chapter 1 — Before You Start¶
Required Tools¶
You will need the following tools to assemble your DryBase:
- Soldering iron (for heat-set inserts)
- Phillips screwdriver
- Hex key set
- Wire cutters / flush cutters
- Multimeter (recommended)
Safety Guidelines¶
Electrical Safety
The DryBase uses mains electricity. Never work on electrical connections while the unit is plugged in. Always double-check wiring before powering on for the first time.
High Temperature
The DryBase operates at temperatures up to 100°C. Allow the unit to cool completely before handling internal components after operation.
Kit Contents¶
Verify that your kit contains all listed components before starting assembly.
